(Inspired from something I saw on the News a couple years ago)
“So you and (y/n) are getting married?” asked America sipping his soda.
“No, that’s not what I said,” his brother said with a sigh, “I want to ask her to marry me. It’s not quite the same thing.”
“Okay, so?”
“So what?”
“So why haven’t you?”
“I’m not sure how to ask her.”
“Dude really?”
“What do you mean?”
America leaned on one elbow, “You got to do in a way she won’t forget. If it were my girl there would be fireworks, food, the whole sha-bang.”
“A way she won’t forget?” Canada muttered to himself.
“What does she like?”
“Well…she likes flowers,” said Canada slowly.
“Then give her a bouquet.”
Canada sat there and an idea formed in his head he smiled a stood up quickly. He looked around for his coat and pulled it on as he ran to the door he called back as the door sung shut, “Thanks America, you a life savor.”
“Yeah I know, I’m the hero.” Said America calmly sipping his soda.
Next Day in the Square
You sat on the stone edge of the small box garden in the middle of the square. Canada had asked you to meet him here, but he was already late. You began to worry when a woman came up to you. She wore a pretty white and blue dress with sandals. She smiled at you and handed you a rose, “Here” She said.
“Thanks.” You said uncertainly, but she was already gone. Before you could think about what had just happened a small boy about six years old came up and handed another rose. Just as before he left before you could say anything. Suddenly people were coming forward handing you roses. There was a businessman, a woman with four kids, a janitor, another businessman, a pair of twin girls, the man who sold hot dogs on the corner, and lot more.
Before you need it your arms where full of roses. You didn’t know what to do with them all. One more person was coming to you, probably to give you yet another rose. You could see their shoes walking toward. You looked up and saw it was Canada, but he didn’t hold a rose. Instead he held a small box. You heart stopped and you dropped your roses, as he opened it and got done on one knee.
“(Y/n) will you marry me?”
You stared at him, “yes.” You said breathlessly. He smiled at you and you asked bewildered, “Canada I can’t believe it? The roses and the ring? It was all you?”
“Yes.”
“I don’t know what to say.”
“You don’t need to say anything.” He pulled you up and kissed you right the in the middle of the square. All around all the people who had given you roses clapped and cheered.

Canada X Reader Courage
Matthew was never a loud, outgoing person. People barely acknowledged him and he had grown used to it.

Now (Name) did notice him. Matthew looked cute to her and seemed nice. He was someone she would want to know. Considering all the rude, egotistical guys that kept asking her to go out with them.

My Savior: Canada
"_____! Stop!"
Whose voice was that? It sounded so familiar yet there was something different about it... a little loader than what I was use to. I turned my head slowly around so that I could get a look at who the voice belonged to.
I saw a familiar red hoodie with... a white maple leaf imprinted on the front of it? They had longish blonde hair and a curl that drooped (probably because of the drizzle). The next thing I noticed were the worried violet eyes that stood out from behind this person's rain dropped-stained glasses. If it were anybody else, they would have easily mistaken this person as Alfred Jones. But I knew better.
